i am exactly twice the age of DA since my 18th is this friday!
i don't feel any older, but then agin i don't know how im ever really supposed to feel. college is right around the corner and thats exciting.

i leave for new york on the 8th, so hopefully *crosses fingers* ill have some great photos to report back with!

my school has been closed until May 6th due to a case of swine flu! i'm trying to not laugh but i can't help but to find the humor in it! So now I'm sitting at home in the dark trying to go back to sleep after the phone rang with the news at 1 in the morning!

Oh well, my thoughts and prayers go out to the girl at my school who is infected with the virus.

On a lighter not, I have sent in all of my paperwork and am officially attending UC Santa Barbara in the fall! I will be majoring in Anthropology! Alsom my cheerleading team took first place at our National Championships last month.

So with the good come the bad. Hey, at least my school's not the "hey, isn't that the school where some creepy senior was arrested for molesting a child at the on-site daycare" or the "hey, isn't that the school where some crazy gun-wielding pervert ran on campus!"

I got into UCSB!!!! YEY!
this week has been amazing!
first i got into ucsb, then a week of amazing cheer practices, my photos were featured in my school newspaper, and school was only 3 hours long monday, tuesday, and wednesday!

i'm flying to San Diego tomorrow for SDSU's open house just to rule out all other options. it's all very exciting

oh, and scary news
i've had a lump in my chect that tripled in size over the last week
and now it hurts and it's bruising me from the inside out. i have an appointment with a surgeon next week but i really don't want to have to result to surgery. keep me in your prayers

This week has started off on a pretty turbulent note.
Today I heard back from Cal Poly..."not accepted for admission"
yeah, I basically got the big FUCK YOU from SLO, but all is good
i pretty much applied there to make my mom happy, but it still sucks knowing that it's not even an option anymore

i've heard back from 4 schools now (chico state, sjsu, sdsu, and cal poly) and am 3-1 in college acceptances, San Diego State is lookin soooo good!!!!

on a positive note, TATTOO EXPO at the cow palace this weekend!!!! 300 artists tattooing and piercing for 3 days. i'm sooo pumped! id get something done but i have nationals in 3 weeks and cant have any new piercings or fresh ink (yeah, i know i'm only 17 buy whatev). im bringing mah girls and we're gonna have sooo much fun!

only 13 more days until i find out about ucsb...wish me luck!

What better way to celebrate my winning the photo contest than by going to my second home Disneyland! I'm leaving in like 30 minutes and am sooo excited! I plan on taking millions upon millions of photos so prepare for attack of the uploads when I get back Saturday. I just wanna leave before my mother throws another parka at me. "It's going to be 60 degrees! You need to pack for a blizzard!!! I guess that's what you get when you live in California all of your life. 60 degrees is like frozen tundra weather. Haha...anyways, be good!
